Wow! It feels like forever since I've spoken to you guys! It has been forever! That's the life of a working single mami sometimes! I've been on my grind securing sponsorships, recruiting designers and everything else in between. I'm still mastering the simultaneously-working skill, bare with me. Upon having to update quite a few things here and there, there is some bittersweet news I have to deliver: the Strictly Indie Fashion Show has been postponed to June 19, 2010. I know, I know, it's a little depressing, but the upside is we have more time to perfect this much-anticipated event and folks have the opportunity to shop for the perfect ensemble! It's a win-win situation for all parties involved.

You know I lobby hard for anything that holds my passion. Getting my work out there is one of those passions. Actually, a sub-passion, since promotion is related to my fashion, the primary passion. I finally found a spot to showcase my work for next to nothing. It was quite a process, but I got it done!
My little man is my photographer--he's pretty good, too--and we get it in when we're in the zone at the 'photo shoot'. I notice that he's very attentive and critical when it comes to his work. He actually likes what he does! That's a good thing because I don't think he knows how much I need him!
